How to reduce the burden of sarcoma in Europe? What steps can be taken at the European and national level to drive policy changes?As the EU Joint Action on Rare Cancer recently kicked-off and European Reference Networks now cover rare adult cancers, join EU Healthcare Commissioner, members of the European Parliament, patients’ representatives and other key stakeholders to discuss how to advance the policy response to sarcomas across Europe, and hear recommendations from the Group of Experts of the Sarcoma Policy Checklist.

About the Group of Experts of the Sarcoma Policy Checklist 

The Group of Experts of the Sarcoma Policy Checklist is an independent multi-stakeholder group including leading patient representatives, clinical experts, politicians and industry representatives set in 2016 with the aim to develop a Policy Checklist for Sarcoma and help drive meaningful policy change for Sarcoma patients across Europe. The group of experts maintains full editorial control of the final document. Eli Lilly & company (Lilly) is providing financial support for meeting costs and materials produced by the group. Lilly does not provide fees to any of the members of the group for their involvement in this project.
